How It Works
Divides total area by each tile's face area and adds the chosen waste factor for cuts at edges and breakage.
Formula
Area = L × W
Tiles = Area ÷ (Tile L × Tile W) × (1 + Waste%)
Example
12×12 ft floor, 12×12 in tiles, 10% waste:
144 sq ft ÷ 1 sq ft × 1.10 = 159 tiles
